John Lin

"John joined BrainSell in July as the Chief of Data & AI Practice. John has 20+ years of experience in enterprise data strategy, governance and analytics, spanning a wide variety of sectors: health insurance, technology, consumer product, non-profit, government and manufacturing. Particularly he is well versed in Azure Fabric and Purview architecture as well as AWS data solutions. John has a strong data science background including Supervised Machine Learning, Foundational Model, LLMs and Responsible Generative AI. He has led AI product management with both open source (LangChain) and proprietary platforms (AWS Bedrock/SageMaker and Azure OpenAI/CoPilot). Before BrainSell, John was the Head of Data Analytics & AI at TechWave and a Data Consulting Partner at Wipro managing local and global data teams respectively. Before that, he was the BI Director at KVH Industries (a global marine technology company) and Director of Analytical Services at MIB Solutions (a life insurance firm). John earned his MBA from Babson College and Masters of Statistics from University of Illinois at Chicago. Besides his passion for data, he is dedicated to his family (kids spread in college, middle and elementary schools) and community service. As gentle as he is, John is a die-hard amateur basketball player on most Sunday afternoons!"
