We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team at Brainsell. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales in the software and consulting industry, managing vendor relationships, providing sales enablement support, strategizing to close deals effectively, and mentoring and managing a team of sales professionals. If you have a proven track record in software and consulting sales, possess strong negotiation skills, excel in sales enablement and deal strategizing, and have experience in mentoring and managing sales teams, we would love to hear from you!
- Develop and execute sales strategies to target the software and consulting market, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, offering incentives, and securing discounts when necessary.
- Provide sales enablement support by assessing the needs of the sales team, prioritizing areas that require assistance, and coordinating resources and training sessions accordingly.
- Conduct 1:1 meetings with team members to strategize creative approaches for closing deals faster and more efficiently.
- Establish streamlined processes that align with our business objectives, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations.
- Mentor and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their performance and achieve sales targets.
- Set and manage sales quotas, monitoring performance and providing feedback to ensure goals are met or exceeded.
- Assist Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Account Executives (AEs) in analyzing sales data, intent signals, and the growth of existing companies to develop consistent and effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
- Help with account expansion plans for CSMs, providing insights and guidance to drive growth.
- Proven experience in selling software and consulting services, with a strong understanding of the industry.
- Demonstrated success in vendor management, negotiation, and the ability to offer discounts and incentives when required.
- Solid experience in sales enablement, including identifying areas for support and providing necessary resources and training.
- Strong deal strategizing skills, with the ability to think creatively and close deals efficiently.
- Experience in mentoring and managing a team of sales professionals.
- Ability to establish and optimize sales processes that align with business objectives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
- Proactive, forward-thinking, and approachable with a strong team-player mindset.
- Experience setting and managing sales quotas.
- Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Zendesk, Cloud ERP, Sage 100/300, SugarCRM.
- Local to Danvers, Massachusetts, or willing to relocate.
